Thank you once again to the WALG Association for renewing its confidence in the French Association to organize these World Championships in North Africa for the first time.
Marrakech is renowned for the quality of its destination, both in terms of golf and culture. We want to make this event a great discovery for many participants. This edition is eagerly awaited by our local partners, the Marrakech Tourist Office, and the directors of the courses that will be chosen.
The sun, exceptional courses, culture, hospitality, and Moroccan cuisine will be the highlights of this competition.
We want this 30th edition to be memorable, both for the quality of play on challenging courses and the tourist appeal of Marrakech, and for the level of service we will offer participants.
I hope to see many of you in November 2026 in MARRAKECH!
The World Association of Left-Handed Golfers (W.A.L.G.) is proud to host the 30th edition of its World Championship in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 22 to 27, 2026. For the first time ever in North Africa, this international golf event will take place on four exceptional courses.
Celebrate the unique spirit of left-handed golf in the vibrant “Red City” and enjoy six days of intense competition, and cultural discoveries in the heart of Morocco's tourist capital.
Facing the Atlas Mountains, designed by Kyle Philips (Kingsbarns) and located 10 minutes from the city center, this modern and unique 18-hole course is set in the heart of a rolling natural landscape, facing the peaks of the Atlas Mountains. The course aims to be original and fun, featuring monumental sculptures.
The favorite course of the late King Hassan II, it is the second oldest course in the Kingdom. Some holes are legendary and steeped in history. Its exceptionally lush vegetation makes for a very enjoyable game. Opened to its first players in 1927.
A course inspired by the desert landscapes of Arizona, set in a natural setting with canyons, arid terrain, dry areas, and views of the Atlas Mountains. A spectacular and intense golfing experience that demands strategy and daring.
The course offers a sumptuous setting combining natural splendor and world-class design. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, it features lush fairways in pristine landscapes. Each hole presents a unique challenge, perfectly harmonizing technical precision and breathtaking views.
Ideally located in the prestigious Hivernage district, the 5-star Kenzi Rose Garden Hotel enjoys a strategic location just a ten-minute walk from the historic city center of Marrakech.
Completely renovated, this luxury establishment offers a complete hotel experience, combining personalized service with high-end facilities. The hotel stands out for its leisure areas, sophisticated restaurants, and bars, designed to guarantee moments of pure pleasure and unforgettable relaxation.
